Yesterday, Preservation Virginia listed their annual list of the most endangered historic sites in Virginia. Seeing the pictures of these neglected and dilapidated sites that carry so much history within their walls and grounds is heart breaking. Hopefully, with the release of this latest list, a few properties will receive the care and attention they deserve.
1. The Old Albemarle County Jail, Charlotteville
2. Cornland School, Chesapeake
3. St. Francis De Sales School, Powhatan
4. Taylor Hotel, Winchester
5. Warm Springs Historic Bath Houses, Warm Springs
6. Gavis Residence, Winchester
7. Warwick Town, Newport News
8. Historic Family Cemeteries Across the Commonwealth
9. Carver School, Alexandria
10. Morrisena, Albemarle County
