The Spring Game is FREE!

vt

I can't believe it!  My husband showed me today that some scammers are trying to sell tickets to the Virginia Tech Spring Football Game!!!!

To set the record straight for those who may not know otherwise.  This Spring Game is FREE to the public!  No tickets are necessary!!!!!

The Spring Football Game will be held this Saturday, April 19th at 2pm in Lane Stadium.  If you have never been to a spring game, I highly recommend doing so for these reasons:

  1. As I mentioned before, the game is FREE
  2. You can sit ANYWHERE in the stadium you choose
  3. You can PARK anywhere you choose
  4. You can TAILGATE anywhere you choose
  5. You get to see a great preview of the upcoming team
  6. The "rules" are relaxed
  7. Spring in Blacksburg is beautiful
  8. There are usually great deals on Hokie stuff
gohokies

So, plan to take a trip to beautiful Blacksburg this coming weekend to watch the Maroon take on the Orange!  Practice your tailgating skills for next year and get the best seat in the house....for FREE!!!

OMG...I cant belive that. The nerve of people selling games that are free.  Well, hopefully the ticket they get was worth the cost of their homemade souvenir. :)

Surely, hookie fans will know better--that the game is free.

Despite the greed of the scalper, something wonderful is hidden in this post--I'm amazed that a BCS school will have something for free!  This kind of thing is a real rarity in the money world of college athletics--good job, Hokies!

They are probably selling them on ebay to all of those who dont know any better. And because there are many who want to show their support to the school they will fall for it.
